Rute Eliana Santos aka Rute Ellis was born on March 26, 1994 in Leiria, Portugal. She is a multidisciplinary artist, working as actor, mover, singer, performer, director, visual artist and costume designer. Based in London since 2018 to study the Performing Arts Degree in the University of East London, Rute has started classical and contemporary dance at 13 years old and always kept attending workshops such as acting, character building, improvisation, vogue, burlesque, aerial and fusion dance, sewing, photography, screen printing and other arts. Being a freelance artist since 2012, she created the persona Titz Vagabond and performed live, on film and music videos and also collaborated as model, stylist, costume designer and producer. Rute is also part of Cows Caos band as front-woman since 2016, where she performs blending with the psychedelic tropical surf rock music telling stories through her words, body and hypnotic choreographies, diving to the deconstruction of nonsense.
